Who We Are
Little Hands Las Manitas Bilingual Preschool is a ministry of Mid Valley Community Church in Woodburn, Oregon. We strive to inspire children to learn and grow in knowledge and in faith. Our preschool program is intended to prepare children for kindergarten in a warm and loving Christian environment while encouraging a passion for life-long learning, language and literacy.

Maestra Cindy
Preschool Director
Spanish Teacher
Cindy is a mother of 6 children, with a passion for teaching and for bilingual education. She has a Masters of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University and is licensed in Oregon as an Early Childhood/Elementary Education Teacher. She has 5 years teaching experience at the elementary level, primarily in dual-immersion classrooms as a Spanish/English teacher and has written Spanish immersion curriculum for Calico Spanish. This is Cindy’s fifth year as a Spanish teacher and administrator at Las Manitas.

English Teacher
Jeremy is a father of 6 children, with a passion for teaching eager learners, scientific exploration, math and children’s literature. He has a Masters of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University and is licensed in Oregon as an Elementary through High School teacher. He has over 18 years of teaching experience at various levels and has a passion for writing children’s literature, especially poetry. This is Jeremy’s fifth year of teaching at Las Manitas.

Class Options and Tuition Rates for 2020/21 School Year
Little Hands Las Manitas Bilingual Preschool is open to children ages 3 to 5 years old (Pre-kindergarten). All class sessions are from 8:00am-11:00am. We have a free flexible morning play time each preschool morning from 7:15am-8am for families who need to drop off their children a little earlier.
Preschool tuition is figured for a 9-month calendar year for the 2020/21 school year, beginning in September and ending in May, with holidays and vacations roughly following the Woodburn School District Calendar. Monthly rates remain the same regardless of the number of student days that month.
There is an additional $50 non-refundable registration fee due at the time of registration. This fee covers supplies and snacks throughout the school year.

STEP 1
If you would like to enroll your child for the 2020/2021 school year, please submit the online registration form above. Then mail the $50 non-refundable registration fee made out to Las Manitas Bilingual Preschool, 591 Gatch St., Woodburn, Or 97071. This will reserve your child’s spot in class.
STEP 2
Once the Director has received your registration form, she will contact you to finalize your child’s enrollment.
STEP 3
Tuition is due on the first school day of the month. Tuition is the same amount every month, regardless of the number of school days that month, September – May. There is a $30 late fee for tuition paid after the 10th of the month.
It is the policy of Little Hands Las Manitas Bilingual Preschool that no person shall be subjected to discrimination because of race, national origin, sex, religion, or handicap.
We will provide for all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to children at the school to any child regardless of race, national origin, sex, religion, or ability.
- Children applying for preschool must be 3 years old prior to his/her first day of school. Children may be accepted mid-year on a space-available basis.
- All children must be toilet trained.
