WHO WE ARE

Little Hands Las Manitas Bilingual Preschool is a ministry of Mid Valley Community Church in Woodburn, Oregon. We strive to inspire children to learn and grow in knowledge and in faith. Our preschool program is intended to prepare children for kindergarten in a warm and loving Christian environment while encouraging a passion for life-long learning, language and literacy.

Teacher Della

English Teacher

Della has four adult children and is the Abuelita of Cindy and Jeremy’s six children. Della spent her career in Early Childhood Development as an in-home daycare provider and later as a preschool teacher, then Assistant Director at Gold Creek Childcare Center in Juneau, Alaska. She served as Lead Teacher in both the preschool and pre-kindergarten classrooms. Della has a passion for teaching young children in a loving, fun and safe learning environment where they have an opportunity to learn social skills before they enter kindergarten. It is this passion that has prompted her to offer to teach at Las Manitas.

Maestra Cindy

Preschool Director
Spanish Teacher

Cindy is a mother of 6 children, with a passion for teaching and for bilingual education. She has a Masters of Arts in Teaching from George Fox University and is licensed in Oregon as an Early Childhood/Elementary Education Teacher. She has 5 years teaching experience at the elementary level, primarily in dual-immersion classrooms as a Spanish/English teacher and has written Spanish immersion curriculum for Calico Spanish. This is Cindy’s eighth year as a Spanish teacher and administrator at Las Manitas.

Maestra Becca

Spanish Teacher

Becca is the mother of two young girls and loves to foster excitement for language and learning in young children. She has her Masters of Science in Reading from Western Oregon and an Early Childhood/Elementary Education Undergraduate degree from George Fox University.  She is a licensed elementary educator in Oregon and has 8 years teaching experience as a dual language immersion teacher in kindergarten and first grade. This is Becca’s fourth year teaching at Las Manitas.

STEP 1

If you would like to enroll your child for the 2024/2025 school year, please submit the online registration form above. Then mail the $50 non-refundable registration fee made out to Las Manitas Bilingual Preschool, 591 Gatch St., Woodburn, Or 97071. This will reserve your child’s spot in class.

STEP 2

Once the Director has received your registration form, she will contact you to finalize your child’s enrollment.

STEP 3

Tuition is due on the first school day of the month. Tuition is the same amount every month, regardless of the number of school days that month, September – May. There is a $30 late fee for tuition paid after the 10th of the month.
