Our mission is to draw students into relationships they trust that will help them grow spiritually and become happier, healthier people.
Sunday morning middle school class is the foundations of discipleship and scriptural teachings. We meet in the Gathering Room adjacent to the Coffee Shop during 2nd service. We begin with an icebreaker game or highlights of the week to help students connect with the leaders and other students. We move into the bible lesson that is followed by discussion and practical life application. Scripture memory is given for the week and kids are encouraged to memorize it.
His House (H2) is held Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30 at MVCC in the Coffee Shop. This is a great opportunity for kids to have time to hang out and connect with others, kids and leaders alike. The evening is full with group game time to help foster relationships and create a sense of community. Worship followed by a bible teaching gives the students a firm foundation for faith. We end the night with small groups where students can engage at a deeper level.
Throughout the year we do several events for outreach, as well as to help cultivate community and long lasting relationships that help nurture a fruitful life in Christ. Check out our Event Calendar link to H2 Calendar under “Documents for Website” folder for more details. You can also visit us at our H2 Facebook (link) to see what we are up to!
