Our mission is to draw students into relationships they trust that will help them grow spiritually and become happier, healthier people.

ABOUT H2

H2 is Mid Valley Community Church’s middle school ministry for students in 6-8th grade. We meet up on Tuesday nights from 6:30-8:30 pm, and Sunday mornings at 11:00 am. H2 is loaded with worship, friends, small groups, and a message geared towards students and their everyday lives. Our goal is to create an experience where students can meet Christ and grow in their relationship with Him.

WHAT TO EXPECT

At H2 we work hard to make every student feel welcome and part of the “H2 Family.” Students who walk through our doors on a Tuesday night or Sunday morning can expect to be greeted by a group of excited people ready to welcome them into a great experience at H2!

If it’s a student’s first time, they will be directed to the sign-in table to give us a little information about themselves. It’s very important for us to know students and their parents in case of an emergency and to communicate upcoming events. Safety is extremely important to us. Our volunteers are background-checked and trained to create a safe, secure environment for every student.

WHAT WE VALUE

Small-Group Relationships

Here at H2 we value small groups and try to create as many opportunities for them as we can. Life can be difficult and doubts of all kinds can creep in, particularly with teenagers. Having friends and adult leaders is critical to understanding who we are in Christ. Our small groups provide space for students and leaders to talk through tough questions.

Relevant Teaching

Students are faced with very high-level questions. Who is God really? What difference does He make in my life? Who am I? What is my purpose? How do I know if I’m making the best decisions? The Bible provides relevant answers to questions like these. Our teaching provides biblical, foundational truth for questions teenagers deal with every day.

Fun

We love having fun together and making memories! H2 is the perfect place for students to do their favorite things: play games, listen to music, go on trips, and hang out with friends. Through fun, students can experience the joy of a relationship with God and His family.

EVENTS

Throughout the year we do a number of fun events, from summer youth camp to snow trips to pumpkin painting parties!
